Tackle Depot Shipping Policy

We ship orders from our location in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. You may also pick up oversized items in Belleville to avoid additional shipping costs.

Current Shipping Effective 2025-08-18 for Canada
  • Orders equal to, and over $149.00 CAD receive free ground shipping.
  • Orders under $149.00 CAD receive a flat rate ground shipping of $15.00 CAD
  • Flat Rate Shipping of $40 for Rods & Combos. ($40 for the 1st rod/combo in your order, no charge for additional rods/combos)
  • Trolling Motors, Ice Augers, Ice Shelters, Downriggers and other oversized items require additional shipping fees.

  • Orders equal to, and over $149.00 USD receive free ground shipping.
  • Orders under $149.00 USD receive a flat rate ground shipping of $15.00 USD
  • Flat Rate Shipping of $40 USD for Rods & Combos. ($40 for the 1st rod/combo in your order, no charge for additional rods/combos)
  • Trolling Motors, Ice Augers, Ice Shelters, Downriggers and other oversized items require additional shipping fees.

    We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages in the possession of the shipping company or customer.

    Tackle Depot may require picture proof of delivery for certain orders. If you, the customer, wish to have your order shipped with a Signature Required option, it is your responsibility to email customerservice@tackledepot.ca and receive written acknowledgment from us before your order is shipped. Signature requests made after an order has been processed may not be accommodated.

    Orders containing items exclusively from Warehouse A and are in stock are guaranteed to ship within 1-2 business days. Any products in stock from Warehouses B and C are guaranteed to ship within the specified time located next to the inventory levels in the product pages.

    To ensure fast order times, if items are delayed or unavailable 5 business days after you have placed your order, we will attempt to contact you. If unsuccessful, we will assume you want us to ship your order as complete as possible and refund you for the unavailable products.

    If you have qualified for flat rate or free shipping and we are unable to fill your order completely, we will honour the free shipping.

    Shipping

    All orders to CA and Continental US are shipped using ground services. If you need an order expedited, please contact us directly by email at customerservice@tackledepot.ca or by phone at 1 (800) 990-8770.

    Shipping Exceptions

    Due to dimension and weight limitations assessed by our shipping provider, orders made with an extraordinary amount of weight, height or sizes may be subject to an additional freight charge. These items range from Casting/Spinning Rods, Combos, Ice Rods, Trolling Motors / Accessories and Ice Augers to Ice Shelters / Accessories. These items may be excluded from Free Shipping offers.

    • Does not include Saturday or Sunday delivery

    The Continental United States of American Shipping Details

    • Rates provided by the best-priced American carrier.
    • Offer valid in the Continental US Only (Excludes Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories). State restrictions apply.
    • Does not include Saturday or Sunday delivery
    • All orders requiring more than one package may incur an additional shipping cost per package.
    • Offer not retroactive on prior purchases.

    Disclaimer: Shipping to Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and APO/FPO subject to increase shipping costs or cancellation. Tackle Depot reserves the right to cancel any shipment and provide a full refund. 

    Return Policy

    At Tackle Depot, your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help.

    Returns

    • Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in new, unused condition and in their original packaging.

    • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required for all returns.

    • The buyer will pay the return shipping, and depending on the reason for the return, could be reimbursed by Tackle Depot.

    Restocking Fee

    • For returns that do not fall under the category of defective or damaged items, a 15% restocking fee will be applied.

    Refunds

    • Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.

    • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

    • Please allow 3 to 7 business days for the funds to reach your account.

    Exclusions

    • Used, damaged, or opened items that are not due to our error cannot be returned.

    • Clearance, final sale, or special-order items are not eligible for return.
